Garden Bench

This bench is reproduced from a bench that my mother admired in Longmont, Colorado. Made from pine and cedar, the frame is joined with massive mortise and tenon joints pegged with oak dowels. I have great confidence that this bench will outlast me. It was given to my mother as a Christmas gift; it is awaiting her choice of paint and her choice of birdhouses, which will be mounted on the rear posts.
