My first few bowls

These are my first attempts at turning bowls. I made them using a face plate on my Shopsmith. They are from Cherry, Black Walnut and Pecan respectively. I made another of Mulberry but forgot to take a picture of it before giving it to my grandmother as a gift, oh well.

As the others have said, Welcome to LJ’s. The turning bug has also bitten me recently and I too have posted my first bowl a couple of days back.
Great bowls, well done! How have finished them?

Good work! Turning is somewhat adicting, but very enjoyable as a woodworking experience. I’ve always loved it as part of my woodworking journey.
