glad to join lumberjocks again after a while. :) it is a hand carved pedestal lunch table which is made of solid wood, i try to add a bare face picture of it . i have finished it in mahogany. a pair of these pedestals use as lunch tabe with a glass top, and it is very attractive. i wish you enjoy this project.

Whoa, I didn’t know folks still carved like this! Great job, It looks like it could be sold as a fine antique at a high end shop. Now i’ll have to look at your other projects too. Look forward to seeing more as time goes by. ....(after looking at your other projects) OK, i get it, everything you make is exquisite…..Wow!

Carving is wonderful! I’d like to learn it someday. It seems to be pretty expensive to get the decent carving tools. Happily you have some and have serious skills. Thank you for sharing.

thank you very much but unfortunately i didnt carve it and only finish it. but they have carved here in Iran. carvings usually do up to 80 percent by carving machins acording a base and then details done by hand. it takes around a week for each one.

How disappointing to learn it is done on carving machines! It is beautiful, and you did a fine finishing job on it.
