Made for a friend of the family from Woodsmith plans, oak with ‘golden oak’ stain, shellac, and wax. The plans call for 5/4 stock, but I’ve used 3/4 and interlock the feet and hangers, making the piece stronger I believe. The 3/4 stock makes the piece lighter visually too… -- Carl, Iowa
