Love the pipes. You keep up the good work. Next you will be brewing beer to enjoy with your smoke.

Hey that’s a beauty, what type of wood is it made from?

Hi! It’s made from Briar, a Mediterranean shrub or small tree (Erica arborea) whose hard, woody roots are used to make tobacco pipes. You can buy Briar blocks in some pipe shop or online.
I stained the pipe with alcool based anilin red color, and then brush again with brushing paper, so the stain only get on some part of the wood.after using the 800 paper, i used a cotton disc with Carnaruba wax to get the shiny effects.

Very cool. You’ll have to make one for Mafe!

Hi bibb! I don’t feel like selling them, i just made them for hobby…This one is a gift for a friend, but if you make me a little box like this: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/21662I can make you a custom made pipe, what do you think? :)
I am from Italy, so the only big deal will be the shipping to USA, but if we send as a gift we don’t have to pay custom fees! Ciao,Luca
