I didnt know how difficult this would be but had to try. Not difficult at all. Sides are Ipe/Brazilian Walnut flooring, top and bottom are Oak ply. Joints were taped with blue tape for glue up. Dimensions are 9 1/2” diameter x 5 1/2” tall. Finished with wipe on spar.

Yours looks a lot harder to do than mine. Did you router that top? How? Inlay stripe around the bottom is also pretty crafty. I just went back and looked at All of your projects. You are the box man!

The router channels were easy. I just set the fence on the router table a couple inches away from the bit, and made a pass on each face of the box. The inlay channel was cut on the table saw prestty much the same way.

hey doc i love the wood…good choice…its prettyyyyyyyyy….im trying to make some other projects besides boxes…but i know i will do them again someday….there a hard thing to get away from…nice project…grizz
