Dad really wanted a screen door on his back deck to keep out mosquitoes and keep in, his little siamese cat. He picked up an unfinished screen door at the local hardware store, and though I thought it was “ok” I figured that I could dress it up just a bit. I found an old scrollsaw pattern for a small picture frame that I really liked, and plugged it in to the rapid resizer program I have for my patterns, and it spit out 24 sheets of pattern pieces. The original idea was to cut this out in one solid piece using spiral scrollsaw blades, but I quickly discovered that 2 full sheets of 1/4BB plywood stacked together for cutting is completely uncooperative under the saw. I quartered the plywood and cut the panel out in 4 pieces.
