This project was the first one that got me interested in woodworking.
It was a school assignment in 2004. I wasn’t too interested, or almost not at all at woodworking at the time.
I was attending a graphical designing study, but after 3 years alot of problems made me stop.
The assignment we did in groups, was to make a affordable place for students to live in.
It didn’t need to have any detail at all, but i was so frustrated with everything, decided this would be my goodbye to the study and make more work out of it.
It is a pvc sewer pipe i think. Cut in half, The floor comes from a model of a woodenboat , tiny strips.
The rest are hardboard and alot scraps cut to the right size.
It’s very fragile would’ve done things different now, but it’s special to me as it’s my first project.

That’s very Cool!!

It reminds me of the cutaway model I saw of the Star Ship Enterprise.

Thomas,

The details are terrific. That last photo really tells the story. We had no idea is was so small! We were thinking along the lines of the PVC sewer pipe they use here for city/town installations, not home installations! Fantastic!
