Here is the latest kitchen. Its a shaker kitchen with a white lacquer finish. I did get someone else to spray the finish on this and that was a nightmare. Told me it would be sprayed in 2 weeks. Actual time was 6 weeks. Soft close drawers, soft close doors, dovetailed birch ply drawer boxes, 2 spice pullouts on either side of the window, sheet pan storage above the fridge, soft close dual garbage can in the island, maple lazy susan, angled corner pantry beside the fridge, crown to the ceiling and an island with an overhang. They still have to paint, replace the window trim and do a backsplash. check out the project posting with the window seat and bathroom cabinet

Sharp looking kitchen.

That is a very nice kitchen, I especially like the tray divider above the fridge.
I am about to do a design for someone for the first time and I was wondering how you would charge for the kitchen? Would you go by linear foot or by the cabinet?

Thanks guys. I don’t really have a set price per foot or cabinet because every kitchen I do is usually quite different from the next. I figure out my material list, the options they want, how long it will take me to build it and I go from there.

Beautiful kitchen, I am not really into white kitchens but I love the style and layout of this one.

is this a frameless kitchen? if so how would you approach a kithen in a natural wood? would you use vaneer over the edges?

Yes this is a frameless kitchen. All the edges are covered with white edgebanding. If it were a natural wood finish I would edgeband them with the matching wood.

Have your say...
