I made this saddle stand for my cousin. It’s made from 2×6’s and glued with screws (until the glue drys!). Then finished with dark walnut Danish oil, amber shellac, satin polyurethane and a coat of clear Bri-wax.

I like it a lot. Very nicely done. Is there a pattern to go along with the pictures?

I looked only at the picture- and thought, “hey- that’s a nice desk lamp.” And then I read the description. Oh well.
Nice job on the saddle stand.

Very nicely done, I like the design and the finish fits the piece. I had a co-worker ask Me to design/build one of these for a prize saddle he won at a horse show. I just took some measurements off the saddle and winged it from there, only have seen a handful of these on the net including Yours. Once again, fine job !
