I found this idea off a website, and thought it would make a fun gift for my sisters birthday. Materials used: One wooden pallet, scrap 4×4, paracord, rope, 8ft 2×4 and two 5×3/8 lags. She seems to like it :)

Looks like a great way to spend an afternoon in the shade reading a good book! Where’s the website and I’ll build one. I might also build another one for my deer stand. Sure beats sitting on a stump.

That is a cool chair. Looks “comfy” like a hammock but should provide better support for your back.

Thanks everyone, the website is just click that and it will take you to the site. I kind of slacked on the idea, i didn’t lace it as much as him. Just be prepared for a good day or two’s worth of work ( if your working alone ). You have to take the pallet apart, sand the boards, rip them down, cut them, drill holes, thread paracord, build box frame, drill holes, make hanging assembly and finally install it. Kind of makes me tired just typing it…
