This is the second half of the Feather Ornament collection by Shelia Landry. These are actually my first attempts at cutting these and since I learned how to sand with higher grits, I am very proud of how they turned out.

Since I like to keep things as natural as I can; these are cut from pine, sanded up to 800 grit and sprayed with Krylon Gloss spray for the finish. I added twine for the hanger, pony beads and feathers for the finishing touch.

New Mexico huh? I’m here as well…for now anyway. Is that scroll saw work?

Willie, I am in Missouri. And yes it is scroll work, the pattern is by Shelia Landry.

This is a beautiful ornament or necklace and beautifully done.
