The first hollow form I think is birch. It was dyed ala Trifern procedure with black, red and yellow finished with multiple coats of wipe on poly. Total height is around 4.25 inches. Number two I think is a piece of cottonwood that was given to me, height is 9 inches. The dye is black and green outside and a blue inside. I tried a spray can of high gloss varathane finish. The pens are cherry and cherry/laburnum with a CA finish. The magnifying glass and letter opener are walnut finished with CA. Any comments or critiques welcome. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful, unique turnings. Love the wood colors and forms.
