Here is my first project shown on Lumberjocks, a terrace or maybe you call it a decking. It is 50 m2 big (12.5m * 4 m), that’s approximately 538 sq feet. It is made out of pressure treated pine. I realized during the build that the yellow-greenish colour of the lumber actually fits quite well to the yellow brick with green plaster that the house is built out of. I still have to wait a year or so before I treat the lumber with anything.

Wow you have a nice deck. I am jealous, your deck is way bigger then my deck. My wife would probally like your deck.

Qmoney, don’t think I’ve ever seen one man get so excited about another man’s deck…LOL.. Though it is a nice deck. Great job on the deck.

Thanks. The old decking was made in concrete and just 12 m2. The drainage around the house needed to be repaired/redone and we smashed down the old bunker. So I realized that building a 4 times bigger decking is not that much more work and money.
