Here is my entry for the bird house contest.
I was hoping for a novice category but o well here we are ,
With a little help from my grand kids on this design and build as we go I think it turned out OK.
We didn’t want to build a standard bird house but something with a bit of humor and not too fancy or complicated .
The idea is my own and the design went through a strict approval process of my wife and grand kids which also did some of the sanding and helped with the gluing etc. my I say in 15 minute sessions.
In the end I felt a little like Noah must have felt building the ark .LOL

Thank you all and I hope everybody is having fun with this contest and good luck !

The birds will find it easy to ‘FLY IN’ and build a nest. Great job, a nice family project.

Hi Steve
Yes the pipes are cool and give it that performance look which will come in handy for those fat little birds in the fall going south. LOL

thanks for your comment.

Hi Reggiek
Yes we thought something with a little fun would attract the bird and we would not have trouble selling the seats . LOL

thanks for your comment.

Hi DON
“Yes it’s spruce we used just like hughes but not sitka spruce like in the goose.”
I helped build a championship glider ( Kaiser K6 ) back in the sixties and when building this it brought back memories of those days and sitka spruce.

Thanks for your humor ,always nice to hear from you ! KIEFER

Hi Tag84
No I don’t have any takers yet may have to have a promo on the rent and take some bugs on trade .
In the fall I think we will put on a seat sale to get things moving . LOL

Thanks for your comment .
