Plenty of Room at the Cross Roads Inn

This project actually started backwards…I work for a utility company climbing poles. I was lucky enough to have access to some discarded old poles with street signs. It took awhile but was able to finally acquire these street signs with the names of myself and my wife. From this point I was unsure of what to do with them. I had plenty of scrape cedar left over from decking, and decided to build this bird house with the street signs and cedar arms for her hanging pots. There is plenty room at the “Cross Roads Inn” not only for the birds in our yard, but to hang buckets of flowers from my wife’s gardens. I have learned not to stand still to long…or else I might get a pot of flowers hanging from my arms as well.

Very unique, Janet….or is it Douglas? :-)
Nice job and nice flowers and garden spot too. Are the birds happy? With those street signs, they will be able to find their way back next year!
