This heirloom quality piece measures 2 inches tall (thick), with a 14.5X11.5” top. I had a bakery custom order one of these & decides create several they are so cool. These are not just hacked out with a chainsaw, I actually strapped the walnut log upright to my mill for a super flat bandsawn crosscut slice. Then after 30 days in my dehumidification kiln, sanded the piece from 24 grit to 220 before applying the foodsafe “butcherblock” finish.
