Well I woke up at about ten o,clock and was in this huge mood to turn. so i went out and i found a nice peice of maple wood. i started it at like twelve o,clock. and ended at three fifty. with the sanding and everything. then i put some mineral to give it a dark color. and when i was sanding it i burnt the rimb to give it a style of uniqueness.

You did a very nice job on this, Douglas. It looks thin. What is the wall thickness? Beautiful piece of wood, and well turned!

i think the wall thickness is in the thickest area is about three fourths of a centimeter. It is a really thin bowl one of my thinnest.

Douglas, really nice work on this bowl. I like the burnt rim touch as well.
