This past summer we built a house for our niece. Darryl made these hickory cabinets for her kitchen and also added a picture of the tv cabinet he just finished for her. He’s learning and enjoying working with wood. Now he’s going to be making a baby changing table/dresser-no! not for me! LOL And a dresser for a friend of ours for his daughter. I thought it would be nice to share his work with you. The tv stand is hickory on the top and back and pine and walnut on the front. First time he ever mixed wood and it sure is pretty! I’m proud of his accomplishment!

Beautiful, I don’t think Darryl is a learner, he’s a doer. Give him a pat on the back for me.

Krum you are so casual when you state, ”He’s learning and enjoying working with wood.” as if he was just starting out in woodworking. This is no beginners work. I hope that Darrel joins LumberJocks in his own right, he has got much to share.
Very nice work. Thanks!

I printed out the nice comments and read them to Darryl. And as I stated he’s just learning is a true statement when building with wood. Darryl loves challenges and is what I call a fanangler. He’ll keep at something to make it work and I am glad that he enjoys doing all these projects. I mentioned him to come aboard to learn from other that have been there. I am a carver so it would be great to have him here. He would learn so much. Thanks again for the nice comments. He’s back in the shop working on a baby dressing table. *BG
