My LJ buddy Kenny recently scavenged a bunch of oak flooring leftovers and gave me the pieces that were too small to use. I wanted to show him that no scraps are too small to use so I built this valet. Some LJs said the top wont work with the cross grains but we’ll see. The trim and splines are Jatoba, drawer box pine, and the rest red oak. Finish is BLO and wax.

That is a really nice use of some unusable scraps. It looks very good.. I rarely throw scraps away since they can be used for a number of things…handles knobs and more.
