Just a little table…..some crazy guy I know was going to toss this peice of walnut in the firewood pile…so I saved it and tried to give it a better fate…..the leg is boxwood, and the shelf as well as many of the other peices are red oak…..

That is gorgeous. I simply cannot fathom why anyone would be willing to discard a piece of walnut like this. Great find.

I never thought this little table would gernerate such a buzz….thanks a heap everyone…Mick every thing is held together with tightbond and brads also a few screws hidden under the plugs…the finish is helmsman poly thined down and cut with a few secret spices…..everyone else thanks again
