I’ve made my last pen with an open side logo and a closed side logo
The pict # 4 is the close side
The pict # 5 is the open side

When you turn the piece to the open side the mine is out and if you turn the piece in the other side the mine is closed
Sorry for the quality of the picture 4 et 5
Comments welcome

Thanks for looking

Hi Jack,

I have a negative comment: the fuzziness of pictures 4 & 5. Just kidding! :-)

That open logo is a great feature on your pen. But since I twist a pen from the lower side, the lead (mine) comes out and the upper part, where the logo is, don’t move. Again, all is in the perception of the observor!

Question: Did you intend to make the open logo of it happened while turning and you picked the opportunity to feature it?

To Bricofleur : I have the idea in my mind but I was no sure for the result

The hole is not in the center of the piece to have the effect. While turning, I look to the evolution of the effect and I stop when it likes me.

I’ve been fortunate for the good result (But NOT for the picture 4 and 5 !!!!)

To Branch : Thanks for the comments

Nice work. How did you acieve the effect? I wonder what would be the result if you centered the logo on the band (i.e. half the logo on the top part of the pen and half on the bottom? I’m not suggesting, just typing out loud.
