I Hate Those Plastic Cases

I replaced all those cases with one neat, organized, portable unit that is much classier and user friendly. I have my finish nailer, my brad nailer, and my pin nailer as well as all my fasteners, Allen wrenches, etc in one place. Maybe a little OCD for some but works for me.

That’s a good idea, and to have the nails in a drawer below is great.
We all could use a bit of organization.
I have so many cases as well, but I keep thinking that some day I’ll need them, but I haven’t so far.
Oh no, I’m a case hoarder!

Nice job! What a great way to keep all of that stuff together. Doesn’t take up much space either.

Almost too good looking to store tools in.
Agree with the hatred of those plastic cases.
They usually hit the recycle bin as soon as I get them home.

I’m in the middle of trying to clean up and re-organize my shop and I made a mental note of keeping my plastic cases well within reach for my brad nailer, stapler and pin nailer. Back to the drawing board!

Thanks for the idea…..

Nice, I agree about the plastic cases. They are great for contractors who travel with their tools all the time but for the average person who has any kind of shop and wants their tools are arms reach they are not very usefull.

Beautiful job.

FWIW, One or two issues ago, ShopNotes did a project for air tools. Not any NICER than yours, but bigger and different.

I agree with you 100%, the plastic cases suck in a shop. (They are nice when you have to take the tools to the work) I really like what you did here, allot!!!! Thank you so much for the inspiration!!

Nate

I know I’m a little late to the party on this one, but this is exactly what I’m looking for to hold my nailers and all their pieces. Great project, I look forward to building it!
