I built this retro play kitchen (inspired by the one Kidkraft makes, but with several modifications). My wife says that she wanted to give our daughter something she never had growing up. So there it is. Mommy gets a new kitchen, and so does the little one. Both are happy campers to say the least. =)

Boy, did you rack up the brownie points! I need to make something similar for my granddaughter. Wonderful!

I made one of these for my daughter years ago. Her husband revamped it for their daughter. Believe me, you have created something that will be cherished for years, if not generations. Great job!

-- Flying MLB *** A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

This is pretty much exactly what I have been wanting to make for my daughters. I think I have a little more trouble actually executing my ideas. Very nice work!

@craig—all it takes is a little imagination, ingenuity, and a shop full of tools helps too. Good luck!
