This is a music stand that was in American Woodworker many years ago. The wood is walnut and maple. It was built for a fund raiser at my daughters school. It did very well.
The interesting part of this project was building the forms and bending the wood. I still have the forms. I may drag them out to build one for my oldest granddaughter. She plays the violin.
The post has a sliding dovetail track to raise the music stand up.
