This is for my wife. She liked the one I did for my granddaughter, so I surprised her with this today. I changed it up a little.

Curly walnut ( I wish I had more of that) , 2” wide x 4 ” tall, including the cap. I think the cap is lacewood, but I’m not sure.

Hairy, nice project…I’m sure the wife loved it!

By the way I thought the lathe turned round things….how do you get it to turn a flat side ??? :)

Matt, I didn’t turn it flat. It started out flat, and never got to round completely. I got the idea from my little brass hammer handle.
