WINE IN THE PINES BIRD HOUSE

This bird house is built using 150 corks for each bird house. Do not try to drink all the wine youself. Good sources are friends and wine tasting events. The body of the house is made of 1/2 inch plywood. The roof, corner posts and base are all redwood. All angles are 45.

Have only happy birds

Robert,

This is a great idea! I like the overall look you’ve created here. As a matter of fact, you’ve given me an idea.

There are some pretty decent corks there too, from the looks of it, not just bottom of the barrel stuff. The glass of wine sitting there is pretty funny as well.

Very cool and thanks for sharing this with us!

Now that there is clever. I especially like the birdbath out front for the little birdies.

Kind of reminds me of the Lincoln Log cabins with the red chimney. Clever!

-- I just got done cutting three boards and all four of them were too short. (true story)

Robert,

I was taking a second look at this and something caught my eye: Is that a doorstop that you used for the perch?
