The requirements were: integrated cutting board (it’s actually used as a kid’s drawing desk), had to be on casters, room for a small waste basket.

Materials: 5/4” Pennsylvania Cherry, 4 dowels, screws (4, to be exact ;) ), lacquer, dye, 4 casters

Finish: I added the dye directly to the clear lacquer and used it as the first coat to avoid the blotchy look typical for stained cherry.

I really like this a lot! Very nice design! I love Cherry, its one of the few woods (in my opinion) that get better and better with age! I really like your…...”cutting board” :) :)
