Foison to date. As allways the project takes longer than I expect. I find myself watching glue dry mostly. I also posted a shot of the location for his final resting place above the bar, with cork boot in place on another wood spirit.Just have to finish glueing up his tail, then the fun or well the carving begins !

I don’t know what to make of it, but it’s really cool!

Most people like to keep their imagination under control, glad that you are not one of them. I like the
view out of your shop door, as well as your version of a dragon. I like your perch for him also, along with
other possible beasts of bourbon, LOL. Is the cork boot to keep him from slipping off the perch, or is it
just a trophy from a logger that was too slow. Thank you for sharing.

Like all your work, unique and wonderful. He’ll be right at home with the other fiends I see lurking about.

Great obsevation there Bluepine. I guess that its just an old fat logger that has manifested into a content, benevolent, plump Dragon!
Oh yea and I often make the comment that I’m cursed with an over active imagination. Thanks for the kind comment.
