This is my latest work !! Big Nose & the Cat
900mm x 450mm
The timber frames I am making, arb my artwork perfectly !!!

This work is painted on MDF !! (6mm)

I found some old house paints in the shed ! and thought wahoo !!
Can have a bit fun doing a splash abstract !!
using just 3 paint colours , Black,White & Teal Blue
all the paints are oil based !!

The technique I used to get this effect is very simple !!!
Step 1 ./ Pour paint into glass jars (easy to handle)

Step 2./ Pour the different colours on each other, then move the MDF board around, gravity does the rest, with some interesting effects as the paints meld into each other !!!
P.s Dont be afraid to pour heaps on !!

It’s easy as ! and good fun !!!

Warning though, Wear Gloves & do it outside on your lawn , it can get messy !!!

This work took a week to totally dry !!!

I think I will try this. If nothing else, it will be a great way to finish off some paint left-overs!

This is great, the 3 colors do well together. the technique reminds me of this
