Built this Cedar bench so my wife and daughter have some place to sit when they come out and watch me. Legs resawn from 4×4 post to 2 1/2” square, rail and slat material is 5/4 Cedar decking planed to about 4/4. Rails into legs with my first every hand cut mortise and tenons…didn’t turn out too bad. Anywho, got $53.00 invested in this bench mostly for the wood and exterior grade screws used. Wife suggested placing a craigslist ad and offering them for $100.00. Can be easily built in an afternoon, got plan for it from Wood mag. I think. Might try it, gives me an excuse go to the shed…

How long do they take to make?
