Marshmallow catapult.
Like many other Lumber jocks made their share of these catapults, I wanted mine to go distance and have lots of fire power. so in my design I used two large rubber bands and doubled them then worked them through the dowels sticking out the side. I wear size 11 shoes and I took 60 steps with one foot behind the other to measure the distance it was launched from the catapult to where the fresh marshmallow landed. Most the time it hits the ceiling in my house when I launch it in doors. My church custom ordered 2 from me for their 4th of July pot luck gathering. They like to have new challenges every year for games and prizes so this one will be a distance challenge with 2 people competing for the prize of distance. I hope to come up with another fun challenge wood project for my church next year. Thanks for looking Jeff M.

NICE ! I can’t think of anyone that wouldn’t have fun with a Marshmallow catapult.

Okay, I feel challenged…first, a fun idea and laughed for five minutes….second, I have always wanted to build a catapult of some kind…

Jeff,
And the prize is . . . the winner gets to pick up all the marshmallow out of the dirt and eat them!
This looks like fun. It could be fun with a cottonball, too. Do you have any more views of the catapult or could you give us a few more details?

Sorry don’t have any more pictures at this moment in time. What kind of details are you looking for ? I got my idea off of another Lumber jock man and added to it to make it like a super man catapult that shoots at the speed of a bullet. Hay that would be the idea. when I see a speed check sign that gives me my reading when I drive by I should stop and see how fast my marshmallow will go past the speed check sign on the side of the road. Now that would be a fun thing to do . Later my friends Jeff M.

The other day I took one of my marshmallow catapult to the park and started to play with it. My wife was blowing bubbles and I was poping them with the marshmallows I was launching. A 6 year old came to watch me and then asked to try it. He did quit well launching them for a 6 year old. He said I want one for my birthday so we went and found his mom and I got a sale right away. This is one toy that sells well If a person needs some side money for the month. Thanks much Jeff M.
Have your say...
