Guys,
The dream is almost reality, thank you Jesus. The workshop is 90% complete on the outside and is ready for sheetrock on the inside. Take a look. I have tried to think of everything. I have a 40 circuit breaker panel, and I have used 37 circuits. I have over 2000 feet of wire running through the veins of this shop. I have floor plugs, ceiling plugs, but I am sure, I will find that I could have run more wire. Anyway, I just wanted to share it with you all. If you will notice my wife and I decided to put in a full bath. The total structure is 38’x42’, there is a 8’ porch across the front, a boat shed on the right side, and behind the boat shed is my wife’s play room. To the right is my play room. The whole thing will by heated and cooled for working on those hot Louisiana Days, and occasional cold ones. I’m ready for construction to be over so I can build something.
Brandon

nice job….I hope to start mine as soon as the snow decides to melt. Do you have more photos on the process you went through while building.

Nice play house. Hope you have many years of safe and fun activity there. I would be interested in seeing a basic floor plan of how you anticipate laying out the shop.
Have a great day!

It brings a tear of joy to my eye whenever I witness the birth of another shop.

Hi Brandon.
You just had to go and post something like this to make the rest of us envious, didn’t you!!!!!!!!!
Congrats. If I had a shop like that I would be posting it as well. It looks like you have just about everything you need in the shop except you might want to consider putting in a bed. That way you wouldn’t have to leave the shop (and it might come in handy when you get yelled at for spending too much time in the shop).
thanks for the post. It made my day.

Sweet. I can only hope that one day the lord blesses me with the ability to pull something like that off. Use it well and be sure to post your first project here for us to see.

I’m so green with envy if I had pointy ears you could call me Spock. Great looking shop Brandon. Perhaps someday I too will reach nirvana and have a dedicated shop. Make lots of sawdust for the rest of us. ;)
