This was a father’s day present to my husband. I cut the man of steel in four sections out of galvanized steel. The steel is pretty thin; I bought a pack of 5”x7” flashing material a while ago and used that. I cut the pieces of metal between two pieces of wood on my scroll saw. It cut slow, but nice and smooth. I attached the steel fretwork to a painted plywood backer and then glued all of the pieces together with an epoxy.
Thanks for looking!

Slow and steady wins the race when scrolling!
Here’s one of my examples
keep scrolling

I really like this superman image. I am very new to scroll sawing, but I’d like to give it a try on my scroll saw. Any chance you can send me the scroll saw template.
