A short coffee table just completed. Cherry with Walnut accents. Two drawers open on opposite ends. It stretched my limits, but that’s what I love about this craft.

Beautiful table. Favorited and it will be the inspiration for a future piece. Very nice work!

What are the legs made of? 12/4, 16/4?

That’s a pretty substantial table. I like big, stout, thick looking pieces. Very well done!

sawdustmaster- the legs are wrapped/laminated with single re-sawn board that I found that had a lot of character. They measure 2 3/4” square at the top and 3 1/8” at the bottom and are 12” tall. The table top is roughly 29”x31”.

The design inspiration is loosely greene and greene. See my other projects and check out the chess board and you will notice a theme. This table is actually the outcome of an oopsy. I made the top for a media cabinet (coming soon) and it just didn’t look right on the piece, so I made it in to this table.
