For my first project post I chose my most recent finished product that I built with my friend Travis. It is solid black walnut w22” d13” h22”. The inside of the drawer is solid red oak. The skirting is mortis and tenon pinned with 1/4” red oak dowel’s. The bottom shelf is doweled. The top is attached with pocket hole’s. This was one of my simplest builds but also one of my favorite because of the buautiful character of the wood (the pictures hardly do it justice).

Thanks for looking

Nice job on the table, Eric. Photos never seem to do justice to the wood. Thanks for sharing.

Nice, I love figured walnut (& cherry). Building projects with friends has always been a delight for me. Times that I will never forget. I hope your’s was as memorable!

Eric,

Very nice table! The simplicity of the design really shows off the beautiful wood . . . nice combination!
