A simple project that holds quite a few tools. Made from 2×4’s I ripped (on the band saw) into 3/4” x 4’s. This was done following the plan outlined in the Autumn 2007 issue of Woodworking Magazine.

Very good idea. Too often we just let our tools lie on the bench and in cabinets and drawers- making it difficult to find them when they are needed. This keeps them organized and in plain view. I like it better than the pegboard hooks that I am using.
I will have to put this on my to do list.

Looks good! A nice way to have everything on hand for what you need it…plus it looks good ;)

Looks great. What’s holding the top rack off the pegboard?

Hi Jim.
The top rack is made of the two halves of the 2×4. They are held apart from each other by little strips of 1/2” plywood. Those spacers make the gap that the tools hang in.
