Just a small Keepsake Box I built with some of the Cedar wood I have stockpiled. I wanted to add a little feature to give it some character, so I gave it a raised panel lid… I finished it off with Boiled Linseed Oil…

That cedar looks great, but I don’t get how this is a “raised” panel. Looks like just a flat panel top to me.
A raised panel generally has some sort of raised element to it, like this:

The raised panel is hard to see in the picture, there is a 15 degree raise in it…I will take a better picture of the top to show it

Ah! Now I see it. Good work. I couldn’t see the raised aspect at all in the first pics. Maybe it’s my eyes.
