My parents had one of these when i was a child, not that it ever got used, (snicker) well I decided my kids needed one from time to time. I have a nice little toy, laser engraver so i made the paddle then engraved there names in it. Also some grips in the handle as well. My new neighbor’s moved in and i noticed they were in need on one. So I made the a house warming gift or some may say a seat warming gift. Any way the looks of them intimidates a little and I don’t have to use ours very often. But the funny thing is I’ve had several parent ask for me to make them one.

One of these is Oak, another is Cherry Walnut and Oak, The other is Cherry with Walnut laminated in between it.

these are cool. I made one for my mom on mothers day. I called it the little angel maker, she got a kick out of it. I love how you used the three types of wood and the grips

I have an idea….
why don’t you cut the handle off and make it a sign for his room.

I’m sure he would respect you and appreciate it more than a weapon to threaten him with or cause pain.

Sorry….this brings back horrible memories.

I think these should be standard issue at the hospitals for every newborn. I do not believe in abusing a child but do believe in getting their attention!

Great idea….just looking at it should do the job…of course looking at it sure did not work for me years ago. And yes, they all had holes in them.
