A good friend and his wife just moved, so I made them a box as a house-warming gift. The box sides are maple; the top is maple and cherry with a walnut handle; the corners are walnut. All reclaimed scraps.

I didn’t get the final photos taken before I gave it to them (I apologize)—I added pine partitions (for holding various flavors of tea bags) and finished it with about three coats of wipe-on poly. (I’ve asked them to send me a photo for LJ, which I will post as an update later:-)

Overall size is about 3.5” x 6” x 9” or thereabouts.

Update: The last two photos were taken after the finish was applied and the dividers were made.
