Clawing escaping Arm Sculpted of American Holly , “the flower” of Am. Poplar, I refer to as “Conspicuous Consumption” or what your mercedes looks like to me !
Now the Plumber is actually a compilation portrait styled on the derrier of three of my best friends, the late Saint Chubby Carter, and the current Bill Dillard of Columbus Ohio and Bob Manspeaker of Quincy Florida….Butt what can I say ! except here they are. It was sculpted out of Am. Holly and basswood and the joints articulate.

The last two are imaginary critters near and dear to me and my old frustrations they are of American Basswood

-- some men see things that are and wonder why, I dream of things that never were and ask why not .... rfk

I am in awe… The talent is obvious, the humor sublime! (Well, maybe not all sublime.)

thanks for this, really brightened up my evening.

Porchfish very interesting woodworking again, as well as thought to go with it!

Absolute genius!
A patient, steady hand for certain… and an incredible mind/eye to go with it!
