This was made while i was waiting for another project to dry. Its made of 1/8” purpleheart and put together with ca glue. This remote is for my laptop which i have play music. The remote is usually in my apron but when im done for the day it goes back into this little holder in front of one of my “classy” computer speakers.

Pictures
1. The remote and holder attached to the speaker shelf with double sided carpet tape.
2. Empty holder
3. Where the holder sits relative to my wall of tools.

This is one of my quickest projects but was somewhat difficult to accomplish because of how small the piece is and how accurate it needed to be. This project was done entirely with hand tools, fine tooth Japanese saw, block plane, and sandpaper.

Great idea. My remote is always getting lost on my workbench. Thanks for the idea.
