One of six outdoor benches I made from redwood. The stretcher is pegged mortise & tenon. Since redwood splits rather easily I incorporated two hard maple pieces on either side of the legs and a cross piece on the bottom of either side of the legs. Seems to have held up to Arizona sun and kids so far.

Nice looking bench, I like the design, it appears to have a concave top if so I bet it very comfortable. Thanks for posting…BC
