Nice eel! You are doing cool stuff and looks like you are having fun. Can it get any better?

It took me, over thirty years, before I got to spend quality time in the shop.

Very cool project, I like eating smoked eel when we go out for sushi, being I’m nit a big fan of raw fish like Blondie. I run across a bunch of them while scuba diving though.

Nice work all the way around on this, I like the coloring as well.

This rascal looks as if it is going shimmy right off the bench.
Love the finish… the entire piece!

Yummm smoked eel… don’t forget to add the wasabi sauce!

That is a really nice carving. Congratulations – you did a fine job on it.

Hi Skip, I’m from New Zealand and do a lot of fishing, love it, i do something simler to you but more in the Intarisa line. A few months ago i got onto a website called Fishcarver.com this guy is amazing but on his site he has plans for a copycarver which i thought was very intersting. Bugger me a couple of weeks later there was one on our Trademe site built by a local guy and wanted to sell it. One look and i bought it( cheap to) he had made a beautiful job exact to the plans,it works a treat and makes the job so easy, well worth a look.Love your carving you do a great job.
