Open top jelly cupboard

Project by Ken Stenzel posted 664 days ago 354 views 1 time favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Here is another modified design of a tall jelly cupboard. We left the top open for display. Again, always trying to achieve the primitive worn look. We are now finding the the “dirtier” it looks the more interest it receives, especially in our area of Upstate New York.

Wow, that’s fantastic, do you have any plans drawn up for this project? I would love to build something like that for my kitchen… How do you achieve a worn look like that? I built a lighted saltbox house like the ones at ” Ray's Town Primitives ” but I can’t get the finish right… I tried the crackle paint but it was way overkill for the look we wanted…

This is a very nice piece of furniture. The distressed look gives is a very unique look.

Thanks for sharing.
