This end grain board is made of wenge, maple, jatoba and marblewood. Finished with several coats of butcher block oil. Made as a gift for a good friend.

Fantastic detail in the grain! Really wish I could lay my hands on some of those species! Great work. What do you use to sand top and bottom off?

Panda Design:I have a Powermatic Drum Sander. It’s really the only good way to sand end grain. It works great and saves an enormous amount of time.
