Made this Band Saw Box today and I give the name Stones to this one because the drawers form. made this from pine and mahogany wood, the drawers was finish with green velvet. Finish only with wax, the size of this one is 10X8 in. Hope you all like :)

Very nice, I like it.

I am learning to make band saw boxes. My biggest problem is hiding the entry line for cutting out the drawers. Where did you cut in, and how did you hide it? (because you hid it really well!)

Thanks for the kind comments, the entry line is in the bottom left corner, following the grain of the wood.

That is really well done; even knowing where it is I can’t see the line. I have looked at your other box projects too – beautiful!

Can you tell me what you used to line the drawers? I’m thinking of buying some flocking fibers. Is that what you use, or did you cut pieces of velvet?

Yes I use The Flocking technique, firth I paint with acrylic paint with a similar color that I go use next I I use spray glue and apply the flocks. Hope that help you :)

Very neat! Good job totally hiding the entry cut – I still can’t see it even when I know where it is!

I have never seen pine mixed with mahogany – very nice combination.
