This is a dresser made from a wood magazine plan from their maple and cherry bedroom set. I just used all white oak hardwood and plywood. The drawer fronts are edgebanded whiteoak plywood and the drawers are 1/2 russian birch joined with rabbits and (omg) staples. The drawers are mounted on epoxy drawer slides. Stained with general finishes black cherry water based stain (hand wiped) and then sprayed several coats of general finishes gloss then satin polyacrylic. The drawer fronts came out looking slightly different shades of stain, so I tried something new and mixed some of the stain into the poly (10% mixture) and sprayed two or three coats to even out the tone and it worked ok. There is also a blog entry which shows the construction. Here is the last one: http://lumberjocks.com/EthanC/blog/23938

Thanks for looking

Nicely done! It’s a timeless design, which should last for many years to come.
