I whipped these adirondack chairs together in one weekend. They are made of pine from Home Depot. I didn’t use any plans, just what I remember from seeing my parents adirondack chairs up close. That being said, they were fairly easy to make. I primed and painted them so they would withstand the South Florida weather. I probably should have used outdoor poly, but it was a quicky project. I’d like to use a nice hardwood for the next pair and really take some time on them.

great looking chairs and ottomans. I use pine often, as long as you use a good primer and good exterior paint, they will last a few years.

Nice chairs, looks like good craftsmanship, I you do again think about a clear grade red cedar. Would love to see how they look.
