Maple and Walnut Salt Cellar

This is intended to give the impression of an acorn. It will be used as a salt cellar it is about 5” tall and 4” in diameter. The bowl is hard maple and the top is black walnut. I will put a coat of lacquer on it as a finish.

Pretty! I like the high contrast of the woods. It does look ‘acorn-ish.’
